If he is the kind of yandere that wants to keep you to himself, he doesn't need to lock you up and can pretend to support your freedom. Because, let's face it; Where would you even go? You have no friends, you don't know the world, and being homeless is the modern world is cakewalk compared to being poor in the dark ages.
It also helps him you've already fallen for him. And since he's sentient he could easily have developed darker personality traits than he had in the story --but your preconceptions would make you blind to them for a very long time. First impression lasts. And you're already seeing everything he does through rose-tinted glasses.
(If the creator skilled at writing it, they could easily pass of disturbing behavior as sweet and romantic even. In a Doubler-Dhamer effect. That'd be really neat. ^_^)
Not long enough for a real demo, so I'm guessing the game is still under development.
I really look forward to see more of this game, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for an update. ^_^
